The importance of Jerusalem
Jerusalem is important to The Jews because it is were Abraham supposedly gave his son to God. It is important to the Islamics because it is were Muhammad went to heaven. Many people fight over weather Isreal or the Palestinians, I think that neither should get it. I think that it should be turned into a country all by itself like The Vatican City in Italy, that way it won't be fought over any more and thoughts that want to worship their God there, or not.

Describe the country's geography.
The country of Oman is mostly flat with a large dessert in it's center region. the country is about the size of Kansas.
What is the climate?
It has a dessert like climate in the center and a subtropical dry climate in the Northeast and Southwest.
Does the country have a fresh water supply? What is it's source of water? Does the country control it's water source? Does the country have access to a seaport?
Oman has a very low water supply that it gets from decreasing underground aquifers. It has many sea ports because it makes up the bottom of the Arabian peninsula.
What industries does the country support?
Copper mining, petroleum, cement, and fishing.

A few explanations
1. What questions do you have about the reading? How might they be answered?
I am still wondering why Obama and his speech partners would not answer Thomas' question,
but Bush did.
2. Years have passed since President Bush's comments. What knowledge and evidence do you have to support, add to, amend, or oppose his explanation for terrorist acts? Why might jihadists want to overthrow certain Muslim governments? Drive Israel out of the Middle East? If you don't know how might you find out?
I'm not sure, so I should probably Google it and look for some thing on a reliable site.
3. Even more years have passed since Bin Laden's harsh critique of the United States. What knowledge and evidence do you have to support, add to, amend, or oppose that critique.
Well, I can deffnetly add his reasons for 9/11, and the 2004 London Double-Decker and
subway bombs.
4. According to Wright, what has led young men in Arab countries to find martyrdom attractive?
Lack of fun, such as Movies, Music, and Woman.
5. According to polling in Muslim countries, how popular is Al Qaeda? Why?
Al Qaeda is not very popular because most Islams don't agree with killing, be it allie of enime.

Searching for Reasons
1. What questions do you have about the reading? How might they be answered?
I would also like to know why they are doing this, but that won't be answered any time soon.
2. What is President Obama's answer? Brennan's?
He did not have one. Brennan avoided the question so it would not be publicized.
3. Thomas was clearly dissatisfied with Brennan's answer. Why? Would she have been satisfied with the president's? Why or why not?
She didn't like his answer because he twisted his words so that he didn't give a strait out answer. I'm not sure, the President might have been more direct, but he also might not have.
4. Why does Glenn Greenwald think it important to consider terrorist motivations? Do you agree? Why or why not?
Because if we don't propare for them, when they come, we won't be ready to pick up there mess or try to provent them. I agree with this strongly because we need to be ready to provent their attack.
5. How would you answer Thomas' question, "Why?" Why do Hasan, Abdulmutallab, and others commit such acts?? If you need more reliable information, where might you find it?
I'm not sure how I would answer Thomas' question, because I am not sure myself what the answers is. I also don't know why the terrorist commit the acts they do, each one has their own reason. I don't know were I would go for more reliable imformation but I would not go to Wikipedia.
